When you visit a wedding videographer’s website, you’ll often find that pricing isn’t simply labeled “Prices.” Instead, it’s called “Investment.” I’m no different, but for good reason—you're not just buying a product, you’re investing in an experience, in an emotion.

As a wedding videographer, my goal is to create films that resonate emotionally, that capture the heart of your special day. This isn’t just about capturing the sequence of events but about weaving together a story that pulls on your heartstrings. It’s easy to get caught up in the sales pitches or to focus on the long list of package details, but I’m here to tell you that the real value lies in how the film makes you feel.

Here are my top three tips for finding the right videographer for your wedding:

1. Ignore the Sales Tactics

Focus on how their films make you feel. If watching someone else’s wedding video brings a tear to your eye or makes you feel like you’re right there celebrating, imagine how emotional it will be to watch your own. That’s the magic you’re investing in—moments captured in a way that speak to your heart.

2. Meet the Videographer

Book a free video call to get to know your videographer. After all, this person will be sharing your wedding day with you. Do they fit your vibe? Maybe you want someone to hype you up, or maybe you’d prefer someone who blends into the background. The right videographer will complement your day, not disrupt it.

3. Decide What Matters to You

Do you want to be the main focus, or do you want a more inclusive story of the day, capturing every guest? Trends for 2025 are showing more couples opting for that "main character energy" in their films, where the focus is on them and their immediate loved ones. If that resonates with you, make sure your videographer can reflect that. But remember, not every guest needs to be in every shot—especially if they’re off in a corner, not engaging with the magic of the day.

For me, it’s all about the sizzle, not the sausage. I’m not just selling you a wedding film, I’m inviting you to invest in the emotion of your day—the joy, the love, the laughter. I want to tell your story in a way that makes you feel like the star, because you are. Yes, I’ll capture the laughter, the dancing, the fun, but I won’t waste time on things that don’t elevate your story. I’m here to craft gold—cinematic moments that will make you cry happy tears when you watch them years from now.

So, if this sounds like you, I’d love to chat and see how we can make magic together.

Have a great week,
